I brush the guard with toothpaste, rinse in hot water, then soak and my toothbrush in hydrogen peroxide for at least one hour.
Anyone I’ve seen in the pulmonary office has never mentioned tooth care with me. Anything I should ask my dentist when I go for my yearly checkup?

Hydrogen peroxide is not effective against mycobacteria, so you might ask the dentist if an alcohol soak is safe. I replace my toothbrush head on the first of every even month. Overly cautious? Maybe, but I have far fewer canker sores since I started doing it.
