@joefrench

I am scheduled to have a PRP on my right knee on January 29, 2024. I called Medicare and was told that Medicare covers this injection. The injection will be done at the VA Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. The hyaluronic acid injection worked on my left knee but not my right knee, which is why I am having the PRP injection this month. Joe Galiardi

I was told Medicare does not pay. I had to pay out of pocket!
Anyway, I have had 3 in different places and they work GREAT!!

I was told Medicare will not pay for prp injections. It has been recommended for tears in my right hip.
