@ellens and others, I would urge anyone thinking of taking Kratom to read this post by @colleenyoung. It has a lot of information and warnings about the substance that you should know before taking it.

Yes, John, I heartily agree for people to really be careful with any med the take, and discuss it with their doc. Weaning carefully is essential. And researching Kratom is essential as well, as I did. Thanks, John.
