In same boat, low rectal tumor stage 3cn1 but no did not go that route. I have started radiation and Xeloda about 2 weeks in and tolerating it fine so far.
A vegan diet can do many wonderful things for our health, my diet is rich in fruits, vegetables, plant proteins. I believe it is helping normalize my bowel movements during this treatment and helps me with energy but reversing cancer that has spread to lymph nodes is not something that I believe that diet change can fix. Please pray/meditate on this potential treatment decision.

My husband was advised not to eat any fibrous fruit or vegetables, No pulses, no whole grain cereals Only white bread and to eat refined carb biscuits and cakes. I don’t see the logic I am astounded

We have been told to eat only white rice, bread, no pulses, no vegetables with fibre. No cereals with fibre. I just cannot comprehend the logic
