@rkjb1951 I have limited knowledge of red light near Infared Red therapy. Healthline does have some information on it so you might go there-

As I mentioned in my initial post, little research has been done and the vast majority of medical professional will not venture an opinion because they have no data on which to base a statement. Medical professionals deal mainly in hard facts and not in opinions based on casual readings or observations.
I was introduced to it by a friend who is a talented and certified medical massage therapist. I did my own research then decided to purchase a device for home use after I tried hers out.
