I had diarrhea after I started taking Eliquis. One of my doctors said to try Meta Mucil - it has really helped. I take 1 tablespoon in water in the morning and 2 tablespoons in water at bedtime. The doctor did advise to take take Meta Mucil 2 hours before or after taking prescription medications
