Hi, I am curious to know if you presented this to your oncologist and what his response was.
Thanks!

I mentioned Saltikva at our previous meeting (12/21) and he said he hadn't heard anything about it. He made a note of it and planned to do some reading. Then I forgot to inquire about it at our meeting yesterday, and he didn't mention it either. To be honest, my cancer is responding so well to the Folfiri right now that we're not looking for alternative therapies (yet).

Anyway, here's something else that might be of interest. My MD said that he'll be attending the ASCO gastrointestinal cancers conference 1/18-20, and he often picks up anecdotal info on various issues and treatments that he can consider for his clinical practice. He said if I'm curious about possible advances or treatment options, I might look at the ASCO site. I just did a Google search and saw that they've posted 753 (!) abstracts on research to be presented at the conference. Not all of them are on pancan, but there might be something interesting in there. I don't mean to imply that Saltikva is on this list; I don't know that it is, just that there might be something of interest regarding pancan.
