Help in finding accomodation at/near Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, Florida

Hello everyone,

I hope you're doing well. I'm Dr. Pooja Patel, and I'll be visiting the USA for the first time for a medical observership in rheumatology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. I'm looking for accommodation within walking distance or very close to the clinic.

If anyone has any leads, recommendations, or suggestions, I would greatly appreciate your help. Your local insights would be invaluable to me.

Mayo has free travel concierge services for both US and International dtaff and patients. They should be able to advise you.

Mayo clinic has an on campus hotel. It is Courtyard by Marriott in Jacksonville.

I have found a few lodging options that are near the Jacksonville campus and will also have a shuttle that can take you to the Clinic (listed below). Each of them has their distance from the campus listed as well for you. You could also ask if they have a discount for you if you stay for a longer period of time. You could also talk with Mayo Patient Travel Services. They can help arrange hotels, ground transportation and flights for people coming to any of the Mayo campuses. The Courtyard by Marriott is right across the street from Mayo Davis building. Stayed there many times before moving to Ponte Vedra (just south of Jacksonville). Courtyard not ultra luxury but good and a nice little restaurant. But Mayo has restaurants that are excellent too.

There is a Resident Inn couple of blocks away for staying longer and wanting kitchen, etc. I have always like the Resident Inn as like the rooms to be bigger, with kitchen, and spearate bedroom.
