You'll be on a multivitamin for the rest of your life. Initially, you'll want a chewable because you can't swallow a pill (I had to grind up all my medications and take them with applesauce for the first 2 months before my Doctor would even let me try swallowing a pill and even now I sometimes have trouble with it, almost 4 months post-op)

I had my first set of labs around the 3-month mark and they were phenomenal compared to my last labs before the surgery. My doctor took me off of several medications due to the improvements, including my blood pressure medication.

I use the Bariatric Fusion brand line of products because they're not super outrageously priced and Amazon carries them so I can subscribe & save that way. They offer it through their website as well but I think there's a shipping fee (and I got it priced cheaper on Amazon). I use the Multivitamin chewable (4x day), the calcium chews (2x a day if I remember), vitamin B complex sublingual (1x a day), and an iron supplement chew (1x day). I take other meds so the 4x a day doesn't bother me. I just forget to take my calcium and iron frequently because the chews don't fit in my pill box with all my other pills and the vitamins are pretty huge but again, it's chewable and they dissolve quickly.
