Hello Everyone, I'm new to this group, read your posts (typed in SIBO, read those too). Thank you all for sharing! Numerous scans, labs, OP procedures, extensive reading, podcasts, hours of research—it's confusing, contradictory, depressing and scary. Me: I've been living this nightmare without a diagnosis until 2 weeks ago, while thinking I was a crazy hypochondriac, as everything came back 'normal'. What's normal about this?! Difficult to nail down and seems even more difficult to treat. I understand about finding the CAUSE—has anyone gotten an answer to that? Right now just staring at the antibiotics I picked up today plus 5 variations of Fodmap diets. Better do something or the next time on my scale I'll be 8 oz!

The last time I talked to a medical professional about the cause for SIBO, she told me that no one knows for sure, that it *might* be caused by injury to the abdomen or intestinal area.

I have a weak muscle in my throat which also causes me to aspirate at times. The only thing that helps me is Aselastin nasal spray 2 sprays each nostril twice a day
