Like you, I tend to be a positive upbeat gal and will deal with what comes my way. On Thursday, I’ll see my doctor and hopefully she will put together a course of action which may essentially present no change as of now. I realized that I was on oserdu for 6 weeks prior to the scan… prior to it perhaps, even kicking in. So I’ll try to keep my thoughts and fears in check until after I speak with my doctor. Thank you for your “arm around my .shoulder” it’s been wonderfully reassuring. Deb

I don’t have any specific experience with MBC to share. But I just wanted to send you love and strength to get through this challenge. Know that you are doing your best. Know that you will find the strength to do what you need to do. I hope the dr’s consult goes well. I would bring a pen n pad to take notes. And I would consider bringing a smart friend or relative who can help process all the information. I am older and i find the information sometimes comes too quickly. If that happens, ask the dr to slow down or repeat critical things.

Also, when i was going through a really difficult health challenge, a friend recommended a book by pema chodron called when things fall apart. I found a lot of comfort in there and still turn to it when life events are difficult to process. Sending you friendship, kindness, and strength.
