Right! Almost every one in my family has it, except for my dad and I. My nephew recently had to get help at 3:00 a,m, due to severe pain. He thought it was a heart attack. But, I’m not positive it was acid now….the ENT examined me and saw no issue with my throat. This was before the burning incident ….so, idk. Are you a cardiologist?

The ENT I saw didn’t find anything more than slightly more mucous than expected and suggested I see a speech therapist for the nagging cough and hoarse voice! Cardiology discovered asthma and pulmonary led me to gastroenterology. Mine worsens following a meal , snack, heck anything I eat triggers increased phlegm and congestion and hoarseness. lol no I’m not a cardiologist. I’ve just been under cardiac care since 2002 when I had a viral induced cardiomyopathy diagnosed.
