@henribaai A swallowing test told me several things about feeling full and food sticking in my throat. Until recently fluids went down fine, but I'm doing what the speech therapist told me, to drink small amounts, hold it in my mouth and then tuck my chin in to swallow. I have to take small bites of food and chew it a lot. Sometimes drinking a sip will help the food go from the esophagus into the stomach. A couple of other things - no carbonated beverages and no straws.

Eating a meal takes much longer now, so I'm still eating when everyone else has been done a while. I also eat less because it's such a slow process. Sometimes I get tired from chewing so long, and don't eat my whole meal. That's ok if I need to lose some weight.

Have you had an endoscopy? That might reveal any esophageal and stomach problem. Perhaps your chest pain could be connected to a swallowing problem.

Don't give up until your doctors diagnose the problems.

Jim

@jimhd thank you. Sometimes I become breathless when I have that feeling of something in my throat. Um scared that it isn't a heart issue
