Bone Coach - How do you know it works?
I have seen several people here joined Bone Coach. How do you know your osteoperosis is better. The testimonials talk about general health improving which adherence to any healthy diet may have done the same.
There is no science shown. It's pricey but worth it if it works.

Also, after the 4.5 years on fosamax, did you get off completely? I’m 58 and go results from my first bone scan last week. the average on my spine scan was -3.3. At one vertebrae-3.8. Pretty severe for my age. I’m a very anrhletic person and run, bike, hike. No back pain. Pretty scared. Doing lots of research right now.
@rockmom65 I did not have any side effects with Fosamax. I took the medication as directed, weekly, and waited a minimum of 30 minutes (I think that's the direction) in the morning before eating or drinking anything.
Very confusing!
Why do you say $250 ? I never join a program without knowing the cost in advance, but I am still waiting to know that cost despite the fact that I receive mail from them everyday. Is the cost different for eveyone?
Check out Margaret Martin's website, youtube, courses. Lots of great info and affordable.
I agree! It seemed very much a “bait & switch” to me.
Dr Doug Lucas is the same.
The only things I’ve found that give me hope are OsteoBoost & Onero (I trust Belinda Beck) but neither are currently available. Meanwhile I am lifting the heaviest weights I can without hurting myself.
I can’t post a link but if you google 3-YR-findings-TBC-poster-ASBMR-2018-2.pdf you will see Dr Becks results.
It is! They just want customers.
I believe there are charlatans out there who see our fear of having osteoporosis as a source of money for them. They play on that fear and take advantage of it.
I am reminded of the time that people with cancer felt desperate enough to travel to Mexico for laetrile treatments, ignoring the warnings about possibly taking cyanide.
It seems that the O word can carry as much fear as the C word. Personally, I am not willing to let osteoporosis become an obsession for me.
How long have you been on Fosamax? How much improvement in bone density since taking it? How often are you tested to find this improvement? Thank you. I have started my 4th month. Doc says no results will show up for at least a year. I experience headache and some nausea on the day I take the pill.
@goldenyearsisbs I was on Fosamax for 4.5 years. I am no longer taking Fosamax. I was tested before and after that 4.5 years period of time. I made significant gains in bone density along with the diet and exercise I maintained during that time. I don't have those numbers in front of me but I can check them and report back to you. I did not have any side effects such as the headache and nausea you reported on the day you take the Fosamax. If those side effects are effecting your quality of life you could talk with your doctor about alternative medications. I have friends who could not take Fosamax because of the gastrointestinal side effects they experienced. Working with their respective doctors they did find something else that worked for them.
