@cadunkin, was there another treatment route suggested to you that you are hoping to avoid by learning more about PRP injections?

No other treatment suggested yet, as I’m seeing a sports medicine doctor. He suggests having three PRP injections, three months apart. I’m scheduled for the second one in a week. I’m hoping this treatment works, so I won’t have to go the surgery route.
Thanks to everyone for the excellent feedback. This site is so helpful as far as seeing what has worked & what hasn’t.
