Hi @worth and welcome to the Head and Neck group, and basically a sub-group of those of us who have had the Mandible-ectomy surgery as well.
Mine was done a couple years ago and I am racking my brain to remember if there was anything I could do as well to alleviate the pain from what seemed like my ear on that side other than Tylenol and a warm heating pad.
One thing to check is to have the doctor or an ENT ensure the eustation tube on that side is not blocked, particularly if atmospheric pressure changes relate to your pain. Simple tissue swelling after surgery can also block this eardrum pressure balance as well.
How long ago did you have this done?

Thank you for your response! 11/6/23 was the date of surgery. The nerve pain is constant. Tylenol and serious pain killers haven’t touched it. No one else has mentioned the ear tubes which will be the next question to ask. Good to know!
