No John, mine was the opposite. I had to have assistance for constipation due to the pain meds.
Sounds like you have a mildcase of what they refer to as "dumping syndrome".

We didn’t get the news we had hoped for. Stage 4b esophageal cancer. Heading back home to Florida and will pursue treatment closer to home.
My husband is deteriorating before my eyes.

Ever been checked for irritable bowel syndrome? I suffer from it. But once a week could be caused by a particular food you are eating, or drinking. And does not have to be a food you ate that day, could be from a day earlier, ect.I would keep a record of food you eat every day, when it happens check what you were eating. If your real worried go to your doctor.

How heartbreaking for you all. I was wondering if you would be so kind, only if you want too, to tell me what your hubby's symptoms are.My grandmother is in the hospital right now and they think she may also be suffering the same thing. Checking the internet on the subject does not give me much info on this. But please only if you want too?

My husband felt like food was sticking in his throat when swallowing. He also felt he couldn’t sing like he used to. He had crushing chest pain which sent him to the hospital-we thought it was a heart attack. In testing they said his heart and lungs were fine, but saw “esophagitis” on the CT. That is what started the work up in December.

Hello,
My husband (48) was diagnosed on Dec 22 with poorly differentiated mucinous adenocarcinoma. We don’t know what stage as we have to wait for a PET scan, lung function test and echocardiogram. Anyone advice for us? Confused, scared and feeling very lost.

It’s scary ! And it’s a journey.
The pet will tell you if it’s spread in the body - do it asap !
There are options. There are clinical trials ask the oncologist for clinical trials anywhere !
If it’s not spread - chemoradio and surgery will be the journey I believe.
Surgery is scary but take one day at the time and one effect at the time and it will be okay.
Moral and mental optimist is important !

Did you try immunotherapy?
I understand what you are saying.
I guess it’s a very personal decision. What I would say is that cancer research advances fast and hopefully we will find something that works for each cancer even stage 4! 🙏🏽 soon enough
