Did you have the first MRI before your biopsy? Were the first few sentences of the report under LEFT: the same in your first MRI? Perhaps your doctor can shed some light for you on what led the radiologist to rate it as BIRADS-3 and not 2 or 4, and the potential cause of the rapid washout kinetics. Did the doctor provide you with an explanation that you are comfortable with regarding the "focal mild usual hyperplasia with perivascular chronic inflammation” and “fibrous parenchyma does contain some areas of chronic inflammation surrounding small blood vessels focally and there are some dilated venous structures present within the adipose tissue"? For instance, did your doctor provide info on the significance of that description and can it also be seen in malignancies? It might be worth googling those terms for more information in addition to asking your breast doctor. Glad you are in tune with your symptoms and advocating for yourself.

My first MRI from 6 months ago had the same description, but was given a BI-RADS 4. The “mass” has went down 2 mm, so I’m assuming that’s why the BIRADS went from a 4 to a 3? I have read and concerned that the mass could potentially turn malignant. I don’t like the idea of “watching and waiting”.
