The biopsy from 6 months ago was benign. It stated “focal mild usual hyperplasia with perivascular chronic inflammation” and “fibrous parenchyma does contain some areas of chronic inflammation surrounding small blood vessels focally and there are some dilated venous structures present within the adipose tissue.”
I’m just leary of the possibility of this turning malignant over time. 😕

How do the docs explain the inflammation?

Bi-Rads 3 is "probably benign." If the dysplasia becomes "atypical" perhaps you can have treatment. This is a tough situation of waiting. Have you seen a second opinion who can explain the inflammation?

It may all be fine but it would seem you deserve more information. And the inflammation cannot be comfortable. Did docs suggest steroids or any treatment?
