Welcome and curious what took you so long? It's better late than never and I'm very happy for you! All the best going forward.

Hi Olivia, I'm Rachel and am also a migraine sufferer. Do you mind me asking if you have explored all medical options for relief?
Oh and hello to you !I have been on several medications. Diet management due to certain triggers (food). But no Botox or anything like that. Went to the urgent care for an immediate injection before.
We all certainly respond different to treatments. I would be happy to share what has worked for me but, only if you are interested. I understand it can be very frustrating.
Let me put in my 2 cents worth. I agree with you all. Same here for me but the doctors will not address any of the issues of chronic pain' They just do not answer, smile, start talking about something else, on and on and on. With no reply. Perhaps the dedication on the doctors part is just not there. You showed up, they will get their payment and that's that. The caring, the concern is just not there anymore. Taking their monies and putting it on the next space ship off this planet. But.......WHERE ARE THEY GOING?
To all of us migraine sufferers: I have suffered with migraines since my early twenties to about my sixties. All of a sudden I came to realize that the migraines stopped. When, how. BUT: I started to get many other physical ailments. Many. Not much better than having the migraines. But believe me I am so grateful not to have the migraines. How this happened I do not know.
Oh yes please by all means! Thank you
hi Peach414144, I’m glad to hear that you finally got relief and hopefully the other ailments will go away too
@peach414144 Hi Peach is this the same Dr. you have been going to or have you gone for a 2nd opinion Lind
Triptans did nothing for me! Began Botox every 3 months. After 6 months on Aimovig monthly self injections, they stopped working. Many trips to urgent care for shots and steroid packs. Tried CoQ10 and other natural supplements to no avail.
Finally my neurologist switched me to Emgality self-injections, I continue botox and the best thing yet...he prescribed me Cambia which is a powder abortive medicine that is mixed with water and taken upon onset of a migraine.
Now I get only 3-5 migraines at most per month. It's a tough diagnosis and sometimes can be crossed with tension and other headaches. I wish you good luck and hope this helps if by chance you hadn't heard of something.
