Roux-En-Y Gastric bypass in 2005 - 357# down to #174 - and have kept it off AWESOME; however, I'd give ANYTHING to be #357 again and not have all the health issues I now have. Deficiencies on so many levels, my teeth have corroded and fallen out, now needing dentures in my 40s. Just SO MANY issues caused specifically from having the surgery... Lost my gallbladder, have leaky gut syndrome, have about half the hair I used to have, which is traumatic for me... and on and on....I know things have gotten better since then... But, PLEASE do not get it if you don't have ANY other options. So many surgeries are truthfully just doctors playing God and just removing and changing around parts that He created to work in a particular way. I just suggest you do your research and look into supplements and possible exercise that may benefit you better than a surgery - especially given that you only have 70# to take off. You're doctor can suggest something, but you do not have to accept that as the end all be all. I know I sound negative... It's only because I care and hope to help people if I can. If there's anything I can help you research or can help answer any further questions... Please don't hesitate to ask. I just made a terrible decision and it worked very well for losing weight... But I did not sign on for all the terrible circumstances it left me with and it's extremely hard and miserably sad what I've been left with to deal with afterward. I wish the very best for you and any who may be reading this. Just do your homework. It can save that a lot of heartache!

All my best,
💓

Thank you
For your honesty, I appreciate it. Not sure what I’m going to do,but I am weighing out the pros and cons.
Thanks again

Exactly why I went with a sleeve V bypass. I never took the calcium supplements , wondering if I should start? x ray of my wrist found vascular soft tissue deposits.
