Reclast vs Prolia?

These decisions are difficult and stressful, but all you can do is consider the options and make your least bad choice. Unfortunately, all medications have potential complications but their risks are usually lower than their benefits.

I am a retired physician and I struggle to find the "best" treatment plan. I also know friends with osteoporosis who need treatment but are fixated on the complications and procrastinate or never start treatment; taking on a high risk of fracture.

Good luck with your decision.

@gwpitt thank you for your comments.
I am in the scared camp, but am more afraid of fractures and complications than of drug reactions. My doctor wants me on Prolia, so I am moving slowly in that direction.
She wants me to go on reclast if I have problems with Prolia.
