Well let me throw a curveball. Have GERD and been nauseous almost all of the last 5 years. Went on vacation, ate and drank like no tomorrow...................no nausea!!!!! Back home and boom...................nausea after a week. Yes, I can go back on vacation ha ha, but seriously, any ideas why have nausea again? Thanks!

Sounds like maybe stress. Vacations are fun and relaxing. How is your stress level at home now? Maybe an anti-anxiety med?

Are u on medication such as PPIs or acid reducers? May have irritated the esophagus or stomach lining from drinking. May want to have another endoscopy
If GERD is out of control it takes about a month to control it with PPIs

Quick answer - Stress is a huge factor in our lack of good digestion.

Stress???
It kills me everywhere with everything…
Like the vacation cure…take more!

I've read that some motion sickness drugs help prevent the stomach acid buildup that is a problem for GERD. Did you have any motion sickness medication on the vacation ?
