I just got home from the doctor's office where there were union construction workers picketing because Sutter is hiring non union contractors to build and/or renovate their facilities, I sympathize with these people, naturally, I promised to write a letter to the Sutter CEO about the matter, and because I try to do one random act of kindness every day, I bought four $5 gift cards and handed them to each of those who were standing in the rain with their picket signs. When I got home I saw this article on Medium and just had to share it with you because I feel like we share so many common traits.
