Reclast vs Prolia?

I will have to make a decision within the next 2 months regarding what to do about Evenity. Mainly, I would like to know how soon after the 12th shots one has to get either the Prolia shot or the Reclast infusion. No one has given me concrete information about that. I surely don't want to lose any gains from the Evenity.
Right now I am leaning towards the Reclast infusion for a year or two, because of the problems with Prolia seemingly to be a 'forever' option. At 76 yr that seems rather scary.
Any feedback for how soon after Evenity is over, one has to lock in those gains???

mao22,
I am in same boat. I have my 8th Evenity injections next month. I am leaning towards Reclast, but anxious

I believe you do Reclast one month after your last Evenity injection, but check with your doc!

I’m in the same boat…finishing up Evenity with one more injection. My dr wants me to do reclast next and save Prolia for down the road. She mentioned that Prolia is only proven for 5 years although I know people who have been on it longer….i believe she said reclast for 3 years….ill find out more when I see her in 6 weeks.
