I am 84 years old and lost my taste and smell some ten years ago. I am otherwise healthy. My doctor said its just getting old. Any thoughts? Thank You!

I’m so sorry for you! I don’t know how you’ve managed all these years without your taste or smell. I’m not accepting that it’s an age thing. I’m only 67 years old and am not settling for that answer. Plus, before I contracted Covid, I could taste and smell, so I’m hoping it will eventually come back. I’m seeing a new ENT next month and am hoping they find something that is causing this.
