I’m offering a suggestion…maybe it’s not your eyes. Have you tried to find the root cause of your eye problems. Your Thyroid can either be hyperthyroid or hypothyroid. Maybe you have hyperthyroidism which can cause dry eye. I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto/Hypothyroidism and beginning the medication to treat this has helped my eyes. Also, the foods you eat could be causing this as well. I’ve had a food sensitivity test done and have eliminated all foods that I am sensitive to. It’s not been easy, but I also lost my taste/smell last December and it’s not back yet, so that does make things easier for me. But, I would give anything to get my taste and smell back! Good luck to you!

I’ve been on thyroid meds for years and did lose taste and smell when I got original virus in 2020 and developed food sensitivity to many foods but take h1 and h2 antihistamines per other covid long haulers and if what I ate causes itching or tingling in feet I’ll take a Benadryl after eating. Wish dry gushing eyes were my only post covid symptom!

Thank you for your reply. I have suggested to Drs many times that I don't feel that we are down to the root of my problems with my eyes, especially the dry eye, but don't feel listened to. I have so many eye conditions that I think they don't want to find more that they can't figure out what to do with. I was told that they can't do anything about my chronic double vision and scratches on the cornea, because I have so many other eye conditions........it's like they have just given up, and I don't have a medical degree, so I have to rely on them! LOL! I do have hypothyroid, so maybe I will try to check that out. Thanks for your suggestions!
