Is there anyone that was part of the original ARASENS trial and received Darolutamide? How are you doing after 5+ years?

@wooldridgec, I don't know if they participated in the ARASENS trial, but both @melcanada and @kujayhawk84 have referred to the study. @mmacaulay @round5 @agustinferrari @scullrower have experience with darolutamide (Nubeqa).

@wooldridgec, were you part of the trial?

The ARSENS clinical trial ended June 2022 and went for just over 4 years. I was hoping some people in the group may be those men that responded so well to this triplet therapy which is now the standard of treatment. As for me, I received the same as those in ARSENS but I first had radiation to my spin and ribs to eliminate pain. My doctor immediately started me on triplet therapy ADT, Darolutamide, and Chemotherapy. But I also received 10 cycles of Docetaxel instead of 6 because I did not experience any side effects from chemotherapy other than fatigue which was awful.

im on the same path, diagnosed on 6-2022 with mets in the bones (several) PSA 255, went straight forward to Triplet therapy, PSA dropped to 0.20 as of last exam, almost no side effect even during docetaxel (6 rounds), hopefully we stay on track similar to ARASENS (65% of people was doing ok after 5 years!, and, by that time (2027), faith and hope will bring us new drugs & therapies to the market that are better than today ones!

merry christmas to all
