Hello. You mention "nerve block". A month ago my neurologist gave me 6 nerve blocks (3 in each leg) 2 in each foot and 1 in each knee. Did not work. This procedure made the pain and swelling worse. Boy, did I suffer and still am. Sorry to complain but maybe this information can help to put together some information to be added to the rest of our post's. I am hanging in there and send my caring for all of us. Peach

I had a bunch of injections to relieve pain. I got mine in my spine. They were as worthless as the teats on a boar pig. Maybe get four days of mild relief. I was offered a block of a different kind buy an anesthesiologist before a surgery. He put it in my hip and he said I would not feel any pain for 48 to 72 hours and then I'd have to start to use the medication that my surgeon gave me to take home. It didn't really affect me like a narcotic but it absolutely took all the pain away from my neck and other places I had pain. The surgery was in my neck but I was already a pain patient in a lot of other location period. By and large I think these ejection injections are a waste of time and medically dangerous.
