I'm so sorry celia16. Yeah acupuncture is not cost effective. It really sucks that it's not covered.
Just reporting back as I lay here in bed 12 hours after second session. Sinuses feel dry, no mucus in throat. It's definitely helping.
One of the needles they placed last night was in my left ear and I HEARD something happening inside my head. Kind of crazy. They're stimulating that vagus nerve.

It was explained to me that acupuncture treats the whole body. They try to get things in balance. At least that was my understanding. I didn’t notice anything during the sessions. I just noticed how gradually my eyes felt better. A day without eye pain is such a blessing.
