There are four main types of basal cell skin cancer, and your doctor will know by the biopsy which one it is. That will determine the best course of treatment. "There are four main clinical variants of basal cell carcinoma. These are nodular, superficial spreading, sclerosing and pigmented basal cell carcinomas."

Has your dermatologist told you which kind you have?

No, I am waiting for the biopsy results. I am concerned that she wants to use radiation which entails 3 visits to her per week for 7 weeks. I also see Mohs which is 1 day. I think I'd rather use Mohs as it is quicker. Have you heard which is better?
