Anyone had colpocleisis surgery? I want to learn more

The surgery took a few hours, and I was able to go home the same day because I passed a test of being able to urinate sufficiently without a catheter. I was encouraged to use stool softeners and Miralax to avoid straining in the days after the surgery. I was a little too aggressive with this, however, and it took a little time for my bowels to return to normal. I had the surgery in 2021, and I am in a better place. My vagina had been bulging out of my body, which had caused problems with incontinence.
