Finished November 2023 all 12 injection. Minor irritation and tiredness for a day and occasional headache. Honestly no problems at all!! DXA 13.8% gain in BMD in spine (-3.1 to -2.5) and total femur 5.4% increase in BMD (-3.0 to -2.7) and femoral neck increase BMD of 8.1% (-3.3 to -3.0). and no fractures!!
Still working on it and reluctantly taking alendronate weekly by mouth with so far just 2 episodes of GERD resolved
with minor use of antacids. I do feel lucky i’ve tolerated these drugs and know everyone is very different but this has been my experience. Best to you!!

Congratulations on your improvements! As someone who has just begun this journey (3 doses in) I am praying for a similar outcome. I noticed your post was back in Dec 2023. What drug did they put you on to sustain your results? Curious if you have had a scan at the end of 2024 and if you were able to maintain your numbers. Thanks so much!

Going on 8th injections this week. I agree with some who say they have some joint pain but most of us probably have some sort of arthritis so I can't definitely say any joint pain is from Evenity. So far I have tolerated the shots well and am hopeful for some significant change in my spine numbers which are alarming (-4.0). I have been on courses of fosamax for years -only to see my scores get worse. I exercise regularly (walking and treadmill and stationary bike) but might need to push the weights more.
