Food Sensitivity Testing - worth it or not?

I've been keeping a detailed food/activity diary including bowel habits and meds since all this started back in early September. Despite all the detail, I'm unable to tie specific foods to my symptoms. It's at a minimum annoying because I'm concerned that as I start to taper off the Budesonide, I'll be right back where I started from. We'll see. I know this is a process and a journey, so will try to be patient.

It is annoying isn't it - my issue isn't with digestion as much as allergy, and things "lurk".

One thing I figure out a few years ago, quite by accident - a hidden culprit - is "sugar alcohols" - sorbitol, mannitol and xylitol, among others, that can cause me days of pain and problems. Often found in chewing gums and "reduced sugar" foods...
