Sorry, my bad. It's actually Dupuytren's contracture. It occurs when there is a thickening of the tissue in the palm. Over time, it can cause one or fingers to curl inward (contract), pulling the fingers inward, making it difficult or impossible for them to lie flat on a flat surface.
