Evinature - Curcumin-QingDai combination to treat UC?

My adult son has severe UC and in researching options I came upon Evinature which is a Curcumin-QingDai combination for treating UC. There was one abstract I could find but it looks like it may have only been related to one patient (which of course raises a question) but it resulted in complete remission of the UC. Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with this?
