I have degenerative disk disease in my neck and possibly my neck is a little out of alignment dues to a fall I had onto my left side onto a stone floor 50 yrs ago. These problems cause my neck muscles to spasm and be very tight which pulls on my scalp muscles which then squeeze my skull and cause occasional cracking sound. Sorry for the long sentence
