Gently
Yes - one of the many symptoms I enjoyed during a year of Giant Cell Arteritis and its ensuing recommended treatment was a “wire brush on snare drum” with each head posture change (slow or rapid) and during mastication.
ENT suggested hair deep in ear canal making contact with ear drum as possible cause.
Upon examination no hair was present so we’ll never know.
However it is a simple noninvasive procedure which just might help the clicking.
We hope this helps!!
