Hi @irenea8. When I was put on Cipro twice, my reaction both times was red, blotchy places on my legs, arms and face. Sometimes they would be really itchy or have a burning sensation. Some places had not even faded away from the time I took it in the spring. The itching and burning lessened after 6-7 days. I would use an OTC itch cream to help calm it. My derm does not consider this reaction cause for discontinuing the medication. She said if I had an all over rash, throat closing up, would cause her to stop meds. As far as other health problems... microscopic colitis (previously thought to be IBS), lichen planus, A-Fib (post ablation) and urinary stricture. Hope this is helpful.

and no extra issues while on Cipro with the colitis or stricture?
