Hello @paul61a. I'd like to invite @purpleturtle and @andytheman to this discussion as they have also posted about strokes in the Aortic Aneurysms support group and the ongoing concerns that it has caused.

@paul61a, it sounds like your anguish and anxiety are uncontrollable since your stroke? Does anything in particular trigger your anxiety, or does it come and go at random? You have a lot on your plate right now with your diagnoses and experiencing a stroke among two surgeries. Have you discussed this new symptom with your surgeon or cardiologist?

They tend to come and go at random. I only recently did research on the effects and assumed that the mood swings had more to do with my Aortic Aneurysm.

To tell the truth, I was just happy to be alive and tried to suck it up.

I have a call appointment with my GP in two weeks and will talk to her about going back on the Seritonan uptake inhibitor that I was on before all this.

I have a call into the heart surgeon also.
