Chemo for esophagus cancer: Any advice on things I should or not do?

My husband just finished 2 weeks in the hospital and 2 weeks in a physical therapy center. His doctors are now saying 5 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy. Immuno hasn't been mentioned. What is it?
