I get them regularly, and their frequency seems to increase when I don’t get enough sleep. I’m on antidepressants and actually increased the dosage to treat the pain I experience from PN. So I don’t agree with the reduction of an antidepressant causing them.

I use to get them if I ran out of my Effexor XR. But I don’t take Antidepressants anymore, thank god. I don’t get the zaps anymore either. Good Luck, hope you get rid of yours.
