Depending on the country you are in, prednisone comes in 1mg, 2mg, 2,5mg, 5mg and larger dose tablets. In Australia where I am, we have 5mg and 1mg only. The 1mg tablets are essential for making accurate reductions. Just ask your doctor to prescribe the smaller dose tablets as well as the 5mg.

I'm in the US. I have an appt with my Dr. on the 7th. I will ask I was only diagnosed in October.
