Anastrozole and period returned

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with DCIS. I have had two lumpectomies and 19 rounds of radiation.

I started taking Anastrozole a week ago and now my period has come back. I’m confused, as I thought I was post-menopausal. I have reached out to the doctor and await a reply, but curious if anyone else has had this experience and what your thoughts and course of action was.

My oncologist told me to continue with the Anastrozole and to follow up with my OBGYN if I have another period. He don’t seem to express any concern, so I don’t know how I should feel about the whole thing. Does anyone else have feedback on their experience?
