OK I totally understand your fear; We live in fear of recurrence. Let me just say that there are many established medications available for recurrent breast cancers and you will meet with your oncologist and begin a surgical or medical ( or both) treatment plan.

Take a step back and recover your breath and if possible reach out to a support person who can take this walk with you and be another pair of ears at your appointments. Hear your options and decide next steps with your oncologist .

Many women are doing quite well with varied treatment options available and more are in the pipeline . BC research is a well funded and furiously operating biomedical machine. So much is available to us now. You will take all steps necessary to get this back under control.

I will keep you in my thoughts.

Come back here often for information and support. We are here for you and for each other 🌸

My heart goes out to you! My thoughts and prayers will be with you on your journey ahead, my friend!

@cwilliane90, how are you doing? Have you discussed next steps and a treatment plan with your team?
