This can be challenging to beat back, much less eradicate. I try to think of all the minute organisms inhabiting my body as needing to live together in some kind of optimal balance. I have found that a very, very low-sugar diet (fruit is my main source of carbs) plus eating fermented vegetables (which have beneficial bacteria that compete with the yeast) helps a lot (more so than taking expensive probiotics, which aren’t food…if I eat fermented red cabbage, I get a double bang for my nutrition “buck” because this is a brassica, which helps prevent cancer, which I hope to discourage from returning/metastasizing). As close to no sugar as possible is best for sure. Some of us are yeast breeders. So even though carrots and corn are organic, for me as a yeast breeder they are just sugar. 🙄
