Hello @tierd -- welcome to Connect. I have not heard of having the nerves burned. Did your specialist give you any details on the procedure - specifically any risks involved, success ratio, etc. ? There is another discussion on a new knee procedure called COOLIEF that you may want to review here:

I had both left and right knee done using Coolief recently. I had such high hopes as I am in significant pain. Neither procedure worked. I had it done at UAB Pain Clinic in Birmingham. It hurts like the dickens to have it done. Does any one else have suggestions on procedures that work?
