It’s correct that osteoporosis and osteoarthritis are two different conditions. When you were told that osteoporosis is “ SILENT “ = NO PAIN, I’m sure it applies to most people. IMHO, in many instances there are always people who don’t fit into the general picture. I remember clearly having hip pain just from walking around the house then one day in June 2022, standing in my kitchen I realized the pain is gone. To me it makes sense. An osteoporotic/weaker femur is stressed supporting the body weight => pain. I’m not saying that Fosamax is a miracle drug, far from that. I’m grateful that I don’t have any side effects and it works for me in conjunction with supplements, diet, exercise…Additional details: I started Fortibone and Marodyne LIV in May 2023. Prior to Fosamax, I was on bio identical HRT for 2 years.
