Does anyone have daily persistent headache all day, every day?

Docs cannot figure it out. Dizziness too.

So many of us have this. I've never seen any doctor or other medical professional figure it out. I've had my daily headache for over 50 years. I've given up pursuing a "cause" since they don't really know WHY people get headaches. Sending a hug. 😔🤗

How do you function? I can't even drive 'cause dizziness is added to the mix.

Yes, for the past year. I stretch at night using the stretches and movements given to me by my physical therapist. My headaches are less debilitating. I have IVig treatment and have cranial sacral treatment immediately beforehand, what a difference that makes!
When my youngest son had headaches for 3 years as a result of a TBI, and missed most of high-school, we found a PhD student doing a study to deal with pain without drugs. As a result he has had only one or two headaches of note in the last 4 years. I was relentless and maybe a bit ruthless to relieve his pain.

After having years of migraines I occasionally get a week or 2 of slight headaches daily but as they appear, they also disappear. I hope yours will also.

Mine get "less intense" some days, but never go away. Never ever. I can't do housework because even bending my head down makes it pound. I have to sleep sitting up since 1975. I can't exercise, expose myself to loud music, listen to the TV, etc. Everything makes it worse.

I started a daily 24/7 headache about 3 1/2 months into 20 mg tamoxifen. I looked into any reason I could be getting headaches, from food, dehydration, etc. but there was nothing seeming to trigger it. Headaches were at the back and side/top of head - not migraines, not tension, not dependent on tame of day or position. After 4 months of headaches I went to my primary who assessed me for various triggers but could find none. I also had brain fog. The survivorship provider recommended a 30 day holiday - which seemed to reduce/eliminate the headaches but was indeterminate because I was sick more than half that time with a viral cold sinus headache. The brain fog had cleared, though. A brain MRI was done, no masses. During the next survivorship visit the tamoxifen was reduced to 5 mg - because I refused to continue with 20 mg. My risk level seems to align with recent DeCensi research showing 5 mg may be enough - but I know the cancer centers are waiting on further research to confirm this before changing protocols.
I’m 5 weeks into taking the 5 mg tamoxifen. I do have some headaches but they are not the same as before and only intermittent. I’m exposed to young grandkids who attend daycare, and that Petri dish of bacteria! I’m hoping it is not being caused by tamoxifen because I’d prefer to stay on it.

I totally understand that. I need to find someone who takes me seriously and knows and understands what I am going through. I am doubting my gastroenterologist because he said I'm at the end of the line, dieing. But yet hasn't run 1 test in 15 years 🤔

Find a new doctor! I have to push my doctors. I saw a neurologist that tried Botox for cervical vertigo and I had to ask for any diagnostic methods to try and fix. They said U just have you live with iy and do exercises daily. Talked to my pain management with and he did nerve blocks on my neck and I feel like a new woman.

Thank you. I will ask my pain management doctor! Now if I can just get someone to do do test's on my chronic pancreatitis. My doctor says I'm done and won't make it yet he has not ever run any tests in 10 years or more. Every scan I have for anything always says my pancreas is normal. Nobody checks my blood to check my pancreas enzymes. Last time they were non existent. But in the past that was because my pancreas and common bile ducts were not working and clogged with junk. They then opened them and cleaned them out and put a Stent in for a couple of weeks and everything worked again. I just feel like that is happening again, but he won't run any tests? Why and how can he decide I'm dieing with out looking at the inside of my pancreas and check my ducts? That to me makes no sense. I need confirmation that I am as bad as he says. Am I wrong
