This is happening to me now. I had COVID about three months ago and now I am plagued with a bouts of post nasal drip, Sneezing, runny, thick phlegm in my throat and symptoms of an allergy. Antihistamines does very little to help. Will this ever end?

God Bless You! I have had this thick mucousy salvia in the back of my throat since COVID last August and I had COVID again in October of this year which ramped it up even more. Nothing has taken it away and I have been to several doctors who have no answers. The mouth culture I had done came back as normal mouth bacteria....but this stuff is not normal. I use salt water rinses (salt thins the mucous temporarily), I scrape my tongue daily first thing in the morning using Colgate Peroxdyl to get this stuff off my tongue, I use a waterpik, and I try and drink lots of water. Any antihistamines I have tried helps, but, do not dry up the mucous, BUT do dry out my eyes. I'm praying it will wear itself out. I have gotten choked on this at night. That has not happened lately and i am grateful. Praying you get relief. I care and understand.
